When is the Cheapest time to buy an Airline Ticket to Europe? Also TrackR Bravo contest soon! Don't forget to Enter

As we're getting ready to plan another trip to Europe to visit our son and his family I wanted to do a little research.  I found that buying a ticket, no matter where, usually is cheaper 55 days prior to departure and the price substantially rises the week before departure.

The Lego Guard at Hamley's the worlds largest Department Store they say
We had just returned from London and I was worried waiting until 35 days prior to departure to book but turns out it was actually $253 cheaper than booking it two months prior.  I watched all the sites and as the time got closer and summer was approaching we actually saved over $500 by waiting.  We had plans that needed to be confirmed so we waited thinking fares would skyrocket, but to my amazement they didn't.

Now let the planning begin for our next world wind adventure.  We will try out our TrackR tracker on our luggage as well as attach one to our passports to ensure that should we be pickpocketed we will use this great new item on the market to locate and keep our possessions safe.

Everyone watch for our TRACKR contest.  Be sure to think of the most unusual way you can use it.  I'll have it soon.  Can't WAIT to review this amazing new travel companion and everyday life saver.

Wish we had the tube here.  Traffic jams goodbye
