I don't usually like war films and with our son currently deployed in Afghanistan I don't know if this was a good choice for a mom already concerned about her son but I wouldn't have missed it.
The movie showed how a village protected a US soldier from the Taluban without regard for their safety. Demonstrating the code the Pashtun people abide by; Pastunwali- protecting all against their enemy no matter the consequences. A must see this weekend
You might want to buy tickets online before going as all shows in our area were sold out when we arrived
